Time is up, the PC locks
Open an order "for one hour": the corner of the screen counts down, warns five minutes before the end and locks when the time runs out. The countdown keeps running even without internet.

The PlayPult program is installed on each computer. Open an order and the machine works; when the time is up or the order is closed, it locks. The cashier stays at the desk and nobody plays for free.

Shutdown, restart and messages to the customer all start in the panel. After a session the games and browser the customer opened are closed, so the next one sits down at a clean computer.
Bar and shift in the same place
Drinks and snacks go onto that computer's bill. Closing a shift adds up cash, card and expenses, so you can see how much money should be in the drawer.

Frequently asked questions
What if the customer shuts the program down?
It runs as a Windows service: close it and it comes back within seconds, and on the lock screen Win, Alt+Tab and Alt+F4 do nothing. The Windows account the customer uses must be a standard one — an administrator account can bypass the protection.
What happens when the internet drops?
The last state is kept: a customer who is playing is not thrown out of the game, and a locked computer stays locked. The time limit keeps counting offline as well.
