Bukhara is a compact city: the old part where visitors come and the newer residential districts are not far apart. Most venues live on local guests, with visitors adding to the flow rather than carrying it.
A small city has its own quirk: everybody knows everybody. That is both an advantage and a problem — "free for a friend" and "a discount for a mate" turn up most often in venues like these, and by the end of the month they blur the books.
Where there are many acquaintances, the books have to be kept differently.
Giving a discount or letting a friend play for free is the owner's call. It should not quietly become the cashier's call. Cancelled and deleted orders stay in the log, so at the end of the month you can see how many sessions never made it into the books.
Visitors come in season, but the venue is held up by the local regular. A monthly report shows separately how much the season added and how much is left in the months without it.
Bar sales are not profit: profit is what is left after the cost price. Every item carries both a purchase and a selling price, and the report shows the net figure.
The city is compact, but the location still changes the guest.
The guest usually comes once and expects a clear bill. Closing an order produces a breakdown of time, tariff and bar — nothing needs explaining.
Regular guests, small bills, kids who all know each other. Here control over discounts and free sessions becomes the most useful tool you have.
Empty by day, full after classes. Breaking the report down by hour lets you make the day cheaper or price the peak separately.
The system runs in the cloud, so the venue needs an internet connection. In return there is no server to keep at the till, no database backups and no updates to install — that is on us. If your connection drops often, tell us up front: we would rather say so than promise too much.
Busy and free places in one list: time runs on every busy one and the total is calculated automatically. Products are added with a scanner or by name.
Revenue, bar profit, cost, net profit, average check and a chart by day. The business day runs from 06:00 to 06:00 the next morning.
Nothing to install: log in from the browser, add places, set prices and the bar range, and give the cashier a login.
